shoe and spring coil replacement

Hi, I like your website.

I have an older generic vinyl tilt window. I noticed that the coil and shoe are broken. The mark on the coil says 8K, and the only mark on the shoe is B.

I am in need of both parts. If you need further info, please advise. I would like to order 2, with one as "just in case" another breaks.

I NEGLECTED TO MENTION THAT SPRING COIL IS 1/2" WIDE.Thank You!!

Hello there. Your pivot shoe looks like the 15-177, which works with Series 152 Coil Balances. A coil spring stamped '8' suggests you should use the S152-8 8 pound spring. If your old coil housing is undamaged you can reuse it; otherwise see the newer-style 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145 components. These 'sandwich' around each coil. Let me know if you have questions.
