simco balance has broken shoe

A quick learner from Palatine, Illinois says:
Simco double hung window, 19X 26 (top) , 19X 39 (bottom) , installed 10/1996, has broken balance shoe. The entire balance assembly is cream color plastic, with metal brake. I don't see a way to remove balance channel. There are no screws on channel and they are faced interior with wood casing. Any part numbers or ideas ? Thanks

If all you need is a new shoe, we do sell the 15-014 by itself. The video below also shows you how you can remove these balances from the window.
