simonton coil spring support

Question

I tried the coil spring support on my simonton window. The springs fit but the top of the coil spring support of the 15-150T is squared and not rounded like the original part from my window. That rounded top kept it from snapping off the tabs on the latches that release the window to lean back. Do you have a coil spring support that fits that description? I have included a picture of the original part from my window and the tabs that the 15-150T are snapping off.

Unfortunately for the 1/2" deep coil springs, the manufacturer changed their nylon covers to a style with a flat top. They suggest when changing from the curved top to square top to lower the placement of the coil springs low enough to be below the top tilt latch when the lower sash is in the closed position. We no longer have any curve top housing in our inventory.
