single hung tilt window balance

Question

Looking at your very helpful sight. I believe I need the 30 series 795. On the back of the balance, it has a stamp IN the metal of 30-1. On your sight, it says 30-A, is this the correct one that I need to order? Thank you

Hello,

I agree that your balance resembles the S795-30. The 30-1 stamped on your balance would correspond to the 30A option for our balances. Note that they will support a sash between 8-13 pounds.

You'll also need to purchase the 15-195B open cam t-lock shoes sold separately to swap out the stock 15-195 closed cam shoes that come with the S795 balances. Thanks for posting!
