single hung window balance parts

I have a old style spring type balance that is broken and need to update. Can you help determine a replacement for them? The window weight is 28 pounds.

I have another window that uses the same old type of balance but the window weighs 18 pounds.

Your balance is an old block and tackle that has been discontinued. We recommend our S795 as a replacement for these older balances. Take a look at our video below that will walk you through the full conversion process. Thank you!
