sliding door lock

i need a lock that can be locked and unlocked for the attached sliding door door is 1 inch thick and the screws for existing door is 5 1/2 inch on center i know its older but maybe there is a lock that can be modified to work again i need to lock on inside and out. its fire code that i have to meet

Our 82-005 along with the 82-306 should work in place of your current handle and lock set. Look both parts over and let us know if you think we have found your match.
