sliding glass door internal locking mechanism

Quick Learner from Mobile, AL

Locking mechanism jammed, need new one.

The measurement inside of the latches appears to be 5-1/4" (whereas your part 82-265 shows this dimension as being 5-11/16", so that part doesn't appear quite right).

9/16" width mechanism. End to end of machanism (that item in photo, without face plate) is 10-1/16 (shy of 10'1/8").

Outer faceplate holes ctr to outer hole ctr is 9-7/8". Inner faceplate holes 3-5/32".

Hello,

It looks like the 82-265 mortise lock would be our best match to yours. Make sure that you are measuring the distance between the hooks as shown on our product page. If the hook spacing is the only dimension that differs from yours, you should be able to replace the original keeper with our 82-249, which is compatible with the 82-265. Take a look and see what you think.
