Anderson says my UNsliding patio door dates from 1986, do I go with 81-128 rollers? Also there is a felt running along the on the bottom of the door that came off is there a replacement? Sort of looks like a sweeper, brushlike.
Thanks

If possible, please take a few quick photos of your roller and upload them to the discussion board. We will need to see your original roller in order to make a recommendation for replacement.

OK Guys here are the pics of my rollers and the felt on the bottom of the door. Took both rollers off cleaned them, light oil and I'll tell they don't roll that badly. They roll free with no signs of binding. How do I tell if I need new ones. The door is better but not perfect. I adjusted the rollers up and down for best results. And what felt do I need. The roller has 7163-2 stamped on it. Thanks again.

Yes, the 81-128 looks like the replacement roller you need. The 81-128 is for Andersen Perma-Shield Gliding patio doors that date back to 1982 and are still used today.
Sometimes a little maintenance such as cleaning the rollers and the track is all you need to do to get your door sliding again. We also have a track lubricant you can use to help your sliding doors slide.
The 'fuzzy' piece is called wool-pile. We have a large selection of different sizes and styles in our wool-pile catalog section. Try to match up yours to one of the ones in our catalog or send us a picture or drawing of the profile with some measurements.

I was wondering if the 81-128 would accept an Allen wrench in the adjustment hole as my door is flush with the kitchen floor and does not allow proper grip of a screwdriver. Thanks in advance, Al.
p.s. if so, a size would be helpful

If you want to try an Allen wrench, I recommend using a #5 metric. I believe that could work to adjust the wheel. Also make sure to have someone help to lift the patio door up a little to take the weight off the wheel and make it easier to adjust.
