spiral balance parts

Quick Learner from Philadelphia, MS
I recently bought a house that was built in the 60's. None of the windows will stay up. The old spiral rods have a red tip & are 24 inches long. Do I need the bottom sash clips in order to properly install the rods? Are there any other parts that will be required? Could you explain how to install the rods?
Your help with this matter will be greatly appreciated

Great questions. If you send some photos with dimensions of the parts it would help us in identifying which parts you need. And do not forget to mention whether this is for a tilt or non-tilt window.

The parts are needed for non-tilt windows. The part that broke off was at the bottom of the window, and the other part that's 1 1/4 in. held the rod in place. If there's anything else I need to send, please let me know.
Thanks

Thank you! I believe this balance will have to be specially made. I would go with a S300-24 red tip spiral balance with a 15-020 shoe attached. Can you just tell me how many you need? Once I know that, I can email you a custom balance order link and price quote.

The bottom sash clip is usually the 17-003. Look it over and see what you think. The top sash guide looks like our 18-034, but ours is 1/2" wide. The rod cover is not available, unfortunately. Please review this hardware to confirm everything matches up.

I need 18 spiral balances for 9 non-tilt windows. The bottom sash clip 17-003 and the top sash guide 18-034, both seem to match my broken hardware.
Thanks so much!
