I cannot see a number or code on this spring.  Not sure what to get.

The good news is, I'm confident we can get you the right spring to repair your window. That's definitely a match for our 15-180 pivot shoe, which means you need our Series 190. The only question left here is the stamp.

I'll have to give you some homework here. You'll need to remove your sash from the frame and place it on a scale. Make sure to weigh it as precisely as you can. Then, you divide that weight by how many springs support it. That will tell you exactly what stamp you need for your spring.

For example, let's say your sash weighs 12 pounds and you only use two springs to support it (one on each side). You simply divide 12 by 2, getting 6, which would match our S190-640.
