Hello! The window information isn't going to identify the spring balances, in your case. Can you send photos of the balances themselves, removed from the window? If we see what Kohltech used, we can recommend a replacement.

The window weighs 13lbs and there were two of them one on each side. Both broken. Thanjs

It's hard to tell what this is, because it's still hooked into the pivot shoe. I have an idea, though. Take a look at how your 1/2" wide coil spring attaches to the shoe. If the end looks like Series 160, then use S160-6 for your 13 pound sash.

Thank you. you both have been very helpful. the end part attached to the shoe looks like a Series 152. should I use a 6lb or a 7lb coil balance on two sides?

I'm glad we've been able to help! If the spring is screwed onto the shoe, use the S152-6 for your 13 lb. sash. Let us know how it works out.
