Sounds like you need a new operator. We can help, but we'll need to see a photo of your operator out of the window so that we can identify it. Right now your photo only shows the base. If possible, please show us the complete operator mechanism in one shot.

Thank you! I believe your have an older style operator similar to our 39-013, which has a 13-1/2" arm. Take a look and compare our dimensions with yours to confirm.
