tilt window pivot shoe and arm replacement

Home Owner from Wildwood Crest NJ

Could you please help with the parts I would need to order to replace the broken pivot assemblies. Also, if there are any instructions on how to replace the parts.

Thank you,

Gary

Thanks for reaching out! Your coil shoe appears to be an older discontinued shoe. I am certain you can use the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe to replace it but you'll need to remove your shoe to compare the dimensions on the diagram below.

This shoe is compatible with the 1/2" thick Series 152 Coil Spring, which is installed to the shoe by inserting the lip of the coil into the slot and securing it using the 33-072 screw. You'll either need to look for any stamps/markings on the coils or obtain the exact weight of your sash to confirm the correct springs for your assemblies. If using the sash weight, you'll need to divide it by the total number of coils in the window.

For the pivot bars, I believe you have something similar to either the 26-316 Interlocking Pivot Bar or 26-457 PivotTrue Corner-Pivot. Carefully look over them to determine if either of these could work for your installation.

Thank you for the information. I removed the coil balance shoe and I believe you are correct. 15-177 shoe and I think the pivot bar is 23-316.
I assume I can reuse my existing coils if they are not damaged?

Yes, the existing coils can be reused if they are still in good condition.
