unknown window tilt latch

Part on top the sash and measures at the bottom 2 9/16 inches long and 1/4" high. End with a screw hole is 3/4". The opposite end is 7/8" and has a tapered 1/4" spring loaded piece the secures the sash. The side tab is 15/16" long 9/16' wide with a screw hole. The only markings are on the top which read "CAUTION: OPEN SASH 2" BEFORE OPERATING LATCH TO TILT " The tab the operates the spring mechanism is prone to breaking and my house was built in 2004.
