window Part

Quick Learner
I had replacement windows installed years ago. They tilt inward so they can be cleaned. I don't have the make, model etc. The attached picture shows the part
that is broken on two windows. The width is 1" and the length is 2" of both
plastic parts. It looks like they are attached to some kind of spring so I guess
if one part is broken you need both plastic parts.

Hello,

Take a look and compare the 15-180 balance shoe, which uses the S190 coil springs, as well as the parts listed under the related items section of the balance shoe product page to your assembly. Thanks for posting!

After watching the videos, it appears that my problem is the bar on the window itself which
is broken and needs repolacing. How do I know which pivot bar to order. ?? Thanks for any info.

We'd be happy to research your replacement options. We'd need to see photos of an undamaged pivot bar removed from one of your windows, along with written-out dimensions, to compare to our selection. In the meantime, you can start by comparing the specifications of your part to the 26-040 pivot bar that is commonly used with your balance assembly, though there are no guarantees that this is what you have.
