window Pennco - horseshoe

Question

Hi,
I ordered horseshoe 15-208 from you but there is no way to attach it to the spring. The spring has a hook on the side that should enter into the horseshoe.
You can see on the photo where the spring hooks the horseshoe.

I looked at 15-177 but it is not clear the hook will fit in.
I can also carefully cut the horseshoe to allow the hook to get in but I am afraid of weakening the horse shoe.

Any recommendation? Thanks.

Thanks for posting. The 15-208 has a similar groove on the inside of its upper 'horns' that the balance's hook should be able to attach to. See the image below. Let me know if you have any further issues or more specific problems, and we'll do our best to investigate further.
