Markings are 25 3BSL MF

I'm guessing based on picture on your website it is series 395. Please confirm.

Hello there I agree--based on the end fittings, this looks like an S395-26 with a stamp option of 2530. Let me know if you have further questions.

Does the 2530 relate to the weight rating?

Yes, apologies for not explaining further--the 2530 stamp indicates this balance can support a window sash in the weight range of  15 through 19 pounds. It is equivalent to your old balance's stamp of '25-3'. Let me know if you have other questions.
