Thanks for contacting SWISCO. Could you provide a picture of one of the balance channels you need replaced, with any attachments at the end of the metal channel visible? Also, the length of the meta channel (but not including any end attachments) will help us narrow down what you might need. Thanks.

the metal rods are 29" long. The guides are winged; 1" long; 7/8" wide. photo attached.
Thanks!

Okay, thanks! Judging from these dimensions and your photos, you require either our S380-29 or S385-29 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Your stamp of 28B indicates that you should pick a stamp option of 2820, which corresponds to a window sash weight range of 12 to 16 lbs. Weigh your window sash if you want to be 100% sure this is the right stamp option to select.

window weight is 14lbs. depth of shoe is 1"

I need to order 4 complete assemblies. Will also probably need more in future as we do maintenance in a complex with several hundred of these same windows.

Thanks!

Great! Then it sounds like you should look at the S380-29, with the 2820 stamp option. Thank you for considering us, and if you have any other questions just let us know.
