The marking on the window balancer is "26 5 BSI TF".
The length of the metal is measured 26 3/4.

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 7/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the metal channel should measure 26-7/8 long. We won't be able to help if your measurement differs from ours. You may want to double-check just to be safe.

In the meantime, can you confirm the number of balances you're looking to purchase?

Thank you for the quick response. Your measurement of "26-7/8 long" is correct. From the engineering point of view, why won't a pair of S385-26 balancers work for this window ? If I want to replace both window balancers and make the window work properly, I can just order S385-26, right ?

A stock balance such as the Series 385 can't replace the type of balance you have, unfortunately. The issue when trying to use a stock balance to replace this is that if you were to use a 26" version, both the metal channel and cord would be too short and the sash wouldn't be able to close. Meanwhile, a 27" would be too long, and you'd run into the same issue.

Does it include other accessories needed to install the balancers such as the stop clips ?

Please include the "take out clips" and "sash cams" in the shipment. It this prior quote does not include these components, please send me another quote.

The take out clips can't be included in the purchase link so you'll have to add them to your cart but see if the 16-002 matches what you need. Let me know if this differs from what you have now.

I'm just not sure what you mean by sash cams. Are you referring to the top sash guides? If so, we'll need to see "mug shot" photos of an undamaged version removed from the window sash in order to identify it.
