window channel balance

A home owner from Oxnard CA says:
I would like replacement for this. Metal part is 28" long and slightly over 1/2" wide. I would like correct part number to order. I need at least 4 this size to start.

Thanks for writing in. This looks like either a S380-28 or S385-28. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Once you know what balance to select, you will need to pick a stamp option. Your stamp code I believe might have originally read '2730R'. This conforms to our stamp option of 2730, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 13 through 19 lbs. If you are uncertain this is right, weigh your window sash to confirm it falls in this weight range.
