window counter balance

Question

I'm looking for a window channel balance.  It's 1/2 inch wide, 9/16 deep and the length is 28 1/2" long.  It has 2830 stamped on the back.

Hello. First, check out our guide for identifying channel balances or send some photos. We will need to either know the Series of the balance, or see both ends. A 2830 marking (known as the "stamp option") usually corresponds to a 29" balance. Check the length of your metal channel again. From end-to-end, the metal section alone should measure a full 29". Tell me if the balance measures differently, as it may be a custom balance.
