These are just coming apart due to age. Slide in the lever and you can tilt the window inward to clean. windows approx.14 years old.

Hello Alan! Thank you for posting. I think you should start out by looking at SWISCO number 26-089P, Tilt Window Latch Set. Compare the measurements to see if these can work as replacements.
