Broken Slide Block for Model 200x Window

Quick Learner from clayton ny
I have a broken slide block that the lower side of the window connects to. The block is approximately 1"x2". How do I get the new block in the channel? The window says 1994 on it. model 200x

Hi-thanks so much for posting!

Could you attach some photos of what you need replaced? This will help us to better determine exactly what you're talking about. Thanks!

Thank you for the picture. This part is known as a pivot shoe. Please compare the width and thickness of your pivot shoe to our 15-046, which is 1-1/4" wide by 1/2" thick. Just glancing at yours, I feel our 15-046 is pretty close, but ultimately it will depend on your dimensions. Let me know how well they match up!

Those are the proper dimensions. How do I get a new pivot shoe in the track?

Well, you would just reverse the process by which you uninstalled the original. There is typically a cutout in the track where it pops back in. If not, you may have a bit more work ahead of you. Refer to the videos below for more detailed instructions.
