Hello there!
The pivot shoe in your photos was discontinued and is no longer available but the good news is that you can use the 15-177 to replace it. This is used with the Series 152 coil springs. Take a look and see what you think.

do I select the coil spring by the weight of the sash divided by two?

Yes, you would divide the sash weight by two to determine what weight option you'll need.
