window springs

Question

window spring in photo has no markings. took pictures of upper attach point, middle white plastic string pulley, spring attached to lower window attach location. I see no way of getting lower black and middle white pulley out of window casing - to replace spring unit

Hello, thank you for posting,

Your window uses an older crossbow balance that is no longer made. As long as the original spring measures a 1/2" diameter, you should be able to convert to the Series 795 channel balance.
