Replacement flush mount locking mechanism for Andersen 400 Series casement windows (1995 to 1998). This short tandem lock is used on windows that measure greater than 40-13/16" and less than or equal to 52-13/16". Genuine Andersen product. This part is right handed, which means it locks on the right hand side of window as viewed from the inside looking out. See the 38-161S for the opposite handed version.
