Product Description

Inside latch handle for a storm door. *To remove spindle insert (if needed to be removed) use a 3/32 Allen wrench to loosen the bolt on the side of handle, the spindle insert will fall out. Accepts 3/16" spindle with insert, works on 5/16" spindles without insert.

Helpful Tip!

This part does not include new fasteners. Do not throw away your original screws, you will need them for the installation of your new part.

This handle worked for an Emco Forever door!

I installed this handle (40-150 : Inside Handle, 1-3/4") on an Enco Forever View door. Swisco was the only company I found that had one. A few things. When I installed it the two original mounting screws from the old handle were too short. Get two 1 1/2" #8 machine screws (home depot or Lowes etc ... (cont.)

Any tips for removing the center bolt?

I bought part number 40-150 and can not get the center bolt removed to fit my handle. The part is the exact replacement but I need the larger fitting.Thanks

Will replacing the inside handle help fix the outside handle?

inside handle worn out, lets the outside normally horizontal handle drop verticallly. will replacing inside handle with the 40-150 resolve outside handle positioning?

Need replacement inside door handle for an EMCO 300 series ventilating storm door.

would 40-150 work on this, holes are 1/3/4" apart with a 5/16 spline, not sure if its removable ??
