Screen Door Latch And Pull Assembly

This is a non-handed, mortise style sliding screen door latch and pull assembly. The inside pull measures 3" installation screw hole center to center and the outside pull measures 2-1/2" installation screw hole center to center. This replacement assembly is constructed of black plastic with a steel latch and a black plastic latch activator. Includes installation fasteners.
Installation: Mount inside pull onto door frame. From edge of door frame, slide steel latch into opening, (so that bend is facing outside of door) and insert into latch activator slot. Steel latch should be inserted fully so that hole in latch and activator line up. Fasten with small screw. Install outside pull with remaining two screws. Check door for proper closing and latching.
Note: This new style single piece steel latch replaces older, (obsolete) 2 piece latch with half moon spring.
