1979 operator arms and cranks

A home owner from Maine says:
I need to replace cracked and missing operator arms and cranks for a set of windows in a 1979 split level house. I found Rimco part # 40056, and need both left and right arms, cranks, etc. The operator arms have a curve in them so am not sure what to measure for length?

Thank you for your help!

These operators look like older versions of our 39-013 and 39-014. There are a couple things you need to be sure about, though. The first and most important is that you should check to make sure that the wheel at the end of the arm is the same nylon style as ours. You should also confirm the diameter of the hole in the handle; it should be 11/32".

If those details check out, then the only difference between the newer 39-013 and 39-014 compared to your old operators is that the base has a more rounded shape. That won't affect how it installs, though, so it's just a matter of aesthetics.
