1992 Alenco window balance/cap

Quick Learner from pensacola, fl
Hello,

Glad to find your website.
I have Alenco windows in my house built in 1992.
My terminology will probably be wrong but here goes.

I have balances with a spring that have broken loose from the pins in the balance itself.
The balances in question are labeled 2730. They 28'' long, 9/16" wide.
I also have a pic showing a clip missing - I need that too.

Also, I am not sure if the top cap plays a role in this, however my goal is to replace all/most of the components in all my windows. But first I want to get this one right and I appreciate your help.

I removed the window and removed the balances, one is broken, the other is good in the attached pictures.

I want to replace both balances and caps in this window and once again appreciate your help.
Attached are many pictures but only 5. I have more...
Thank you!
Ron

Greeting, Ron. We have known most Alenco windows to use our Series 395 channel balance with a 19-005 top balance shoe and 15-001 bottom balance shoe with 1-1/8" depth attached. We ask that you compare your balance to ours to see if these are compatible. If it is in fact a Series 395, then go with our S395-28 channel balance with a 2740 option. Go with our 16-002 take out clips and 18-174 top sash guides as the additional components needed for this repair.
