27c channel window balance.

Looking to replace these on my window. Has marking 27c on it. Measures 27" long. 5/16 wide and deep. Single hung window. It has the metal clip style

Thanks for writing in. We can certainly replace this Series 795 balance for you, but I want to narrow down a few things first:

  • Does your T-Lock shoe more closely resemble the 15-195 1-1/4" shoe, or the 15-194 1" shoe?
  • We can custom make these balances with the 15-198 hook attached, but there might be another solution. Can you show us the hole in your window track that this hook attaches to? The shape of the hole is a clue that can help us narrow down what you need. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us! Looks like the hole for the old hook is square shaped, which just made this a whole lot easier. You should be able to use our standard S795-27 channel balance as-is. This comes with a screw clip, not a hook, but I have a little trick for that. If you also purchase our 26-200 screw plug then you can pop that in that square hole and install our S795-27 without any issue. No custom order necessary.
