3/4 inch wide coil springs

I could not find any names, numbers or markings on the existing hardware. The end of each spring broke off and got lost. I am guessing that the ends that broke off and got lost are somewhere inside the window frame. I need two more of this part.

Hey there! You either have our S170 or S171 coil balance. We need the number stamped on the spring near the screw hole to determine which one you need.

The problem is that the end of the spring that has the screw hole is the part that broke off and disappeared probably into the black hole of the window frame.

I made a note that it is either the S170-263 @ $5.75 or the S171-406 @ $6.35. I will send that info to our handyman, Jim.

Hold on, Pat! Don't guess. Have the handyman look at the coil spring on the other side of the window to get the number. Otherwise, the coil is unlikely to work.
