39-172 vs 39-316?

I am looking to replace stripped operator. the swing arm says truth 31850. Looking on website both 39-172 and 39-316 look the same. What is the difference?

The difference between these two operators is the link arm. The 39-172 link arm is offset with a locking clip while the 39-316 link arm is straight without a locking clip.

I have a customer with two Truth window crank hardware sets. I need to replace them. The numbers on the arms are 31850 and 6D705, a left and a right. May I get replacements for them from you?

Both of those numbers are frequently related to our 39-315 and 39-316 operators, but that's far from a guarantee. Your next step should be to carefully review the specs we show for these products to verify that they match. If they don't, then I will require clear and unobstructed photos of the part in question so that I can find you a better match. There are other matches for those codes, the 39-315 and 39-316 just happen to be the most common. They are not universal.

I have TM Cobb Millwork Division Series - outswing casement windows- the only serial/model info is : TMC - N - 9 - 00013 - 00002. These are unique windows in that they there are 2 single pane sash in each frame. The sash close together in the center of the frame like a set of french doors or windows with a rabbit overlay - no center piece of framing. I'm looking to replace the white handle and handle cover as well as the locking handle piece that is located on one side of the vertical portion of the frame. This lock has a gear inside that pushes a rod /shaft that goes up and then over to the top center of the frame to engage the lock. I want to replace these white pieces with black or oil rubbed bronze color. Handle cover plate has 45190stamped, the handle has 3 stamped. I have not taken out the locking handle piece. Can you help me? Thanks Brian

Hello, Brian. We may be able to help with this hardware, but that's tough to judge without photos. Based on your description it sounds like you have a fairly unique setup, so I don't want to suggest anything sight unseen.

The best place to start would be with photos of the individual components you want to replace, as well as a clear photo of the operator itself. Written dimensions would also be helpful. With that data in mind, I'll check our inventory for something compatible.
