Additional parts needed.

Question

I ordered 2 of the S795–32. it appears I need additional parts. I saw another post where you created a custom order for the customer. I included it as a picture. Could you help me order the correct parts. Am I able to keep the S795–32 and add the additional parts myself? It looks like I need the open cam 1 1/4". And the 15-198 hooks. But I don't know if I can change out the hooks myself. The marking on my current setup is 32D.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We can supply S795-32 balances with the 15-198 hook but it must be a custom order. I'll email you a purchase link for (2) S795-32 channel balances with the 32D stamp and 15-198 hooks attached. Note that the 15-195B shoes can't be included in this link so don't forget to add your desired quantity to your cart separately. These shoes just pop on and off as shown below.

You're welcome to purchase the 15-198 hooks and install them on your balance but it can be bit of a project if you aren't handy. You will need a bench vice to securely clamp onto the cord so as to make sure it doesn't snap back into the pulley while you swap the clips out. These cords are under a lot of tension and if it gets away from you then it could potentially ruin the balance; if you aren't careful, it can also take out an eye. If you proceed with this, make sure to wear safety goggles and gloves, just to be safe.
