Balance Replacement

Thanks for posting! There is a good chance we can provide you with a replacement for these balances. Although, I'd like to see the other hardware its compatible with. Is there any other hardware left behind in the window channel?

Thanks for the additional photo. Your balance appears to be an older of the Series 770 Channel Balance. The difference between the two balances is that yours has a nylon clip installed to the bottom, ours has a metal clip (the 15-043 Terminal Clip).
That said, assuming the length of your channel is 27", you'll need the S770-27 Channel Balance to repair your windows. This has a the 19-036 Mounting Screw-Way installed at the top of it, which adds extra support for the screw. If your balance does not screw in, please let me know.
You can likely use the 27B stamp option which will support a sash weighing 11 to 17lbs. Be sure to double check that your sash weight falls in this weight range.
The pivot shoe can looks like it can be replaced with the 15-129 Pivot Shoe but you'll need to compare the dimensions to be sure.
Thanks for confirming. In that case, you'll need the S770-28. The 28B stamp will support a sash weighing 12 to 18lbs but again, it would be strongly encouraged to double check the sash weight.
Were you able to double check if the balance screws in at the top of the frame or if it uses a hook/clip?
