Balance System for Farley Windows : SWISCO.com

The homeowner had Farley 300 Series windows installed back in 2006. They have a couple of issues with the windows. Two of the balance systems have failed and they are in need of replacement. The metal balance piece is about 26" long.

They also need tilt latches (3 L and 3 R) for the same windows. Is this something you think we can match?

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. The balance shown here looks to be a match for the Series 795. Can you confirm how your balance attaches to the top of the window? It appears to be a hook but we'd like to be certain. Can you also confirm the stamp on the metal channel? Note that if the balance uses a hook, this must be a custom order.

As for the latches, may we see a photo of one?

Sorry for the delay. The homeowner has sent me the following pictures of the balance attached to the top of the window, the stamp on the metal channel, and the latches.

Thanks for the additional photos! It's hard to confirm the attachment from these photos. I believe you could be showing the 15-198 hook but the sash stop obscures too much of it to be 100% certain. Are you able to confirm that for us? I also noticed that the T-lock shoe is broken. Would it be possible for us to see an undamaged version removed from the window? The Series 795 comes attached with the 1-1/4" wide 15-195 shoe with a closed cam but there are other versions as well so we'd like to be certain since custom orders are nonrefundable.

As for the tilt latches, take a look at the specifications of the 26-243 and 26-244 to start. Review them and see if they match up with what you need for this repair.
