Hello there. Simonton windows use a few different balance systems. This looks like a 15-199 Pivot Shoe, which works with either the Series 160 1/2" thick Coil Balances, or the Series 165 3/8" thick Coil Balances. You will need to remove your old system from the window and measure the thickness of the coil springs to determine which Series you need. You got it! Thanks for all the information. You have a 15-199 Pivot Shoe. This will work with the 3/8" thick Series 165 springs. For a window sash that weighs 15.6 pounds, use (4) of the S165-4 4 pound springs, a pair for each side of the sash. This will equal 8 pounds of support on either side, for a total of 16 pounds of support--being within 1 pound of the actual sash weight works just fine.
