Balance springs

Question

I would like help identifying and purchasing two springs for a bathroom window. Unknown make and model. window demensions are 25.5"w x 21"h x 1.75" and the weight 15 pounds. Spring is .5" wide x ? x ?. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting! I believe our 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe will work to replace yours, but you'll most likely need to replace the pivot bar along with the other components. There are quite a few compatible with this shoe, so I will need to see a photo of yours to determine the best fit.

This shoe uses the 1/2" wide, Series 152 Coil Balance. The 33-072 screw can be used to attach the springs to the shoe. You'll need the S152-7 for your 15lbs sash.

The 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel will replace the coil balance cover/support.
