We have window balances that need replacement. We have various stamps on the channels for various windows such as 27HD, 27HDQ but the windows sizes we have double hung wood ones that are 27"w x 30"H and 33"w x 30"H. Can we order the same for both windows or is size and weight part of the proper window balance that needs to be installed? We pulled one out and its stamped with 27HD and is the channel-ribbed type with shoe that you have on your web site but we wanted to confirm before we order for our windows.
thanks,
Marcos

Marcos, I believe 27HD will work for both.

I need to replace the 751 channel series with the 15-014 shoe. I do not know how that is done. They are double hung wood windows with vinyl double tracks with balances in the channel. The shoe and/or pivot cam was damaged. Can I pop the channels into the vinyl tracks without removing the vinyl tracks? How do you install the widows (pivots) into the 15-014 the proper way? do you have videos of that type of install?
Thanks,
Marcos

No, I am sorry we do not have any type of installation guides at this time for our S751 balance series. See this discussion where Dave explains the S751 installation process. After you read Dave's explanation, feel free to post any follow up questions right on that discussion.
