Broken crank assemblies

The only markings I could see are a "CU" followed by a sort of arrow symbol.  There is an "A" and "B" on the left and right (respectively) base or mounting plates.  The linkage seems to be fine, but both of the crank housings are cracked so the gears are no longer connecting.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this GU operator is no longer made, but we have replacements that will work for your repair. You'll need the 39-315 Truth Dyad Operator to replace your assembly with the broken cover. The opposite-handed version is the 39-316. Take a look at our video tutorial for a detailed explanation. Thanks for posting!

Thank you very much!  Every question I had, the video answered.  The window is on the second floor, so removing the stud bracket may be a bit challenging.

I'm glad we could help! The bracket can be tricky to access under the sash. You may want some help from a friend to hold a mirror under the sash to make the screws easier to see.
