Casement hinge is out

Question

The window feels like it's going to fall out as soon as I start cranking because the anchor point at the outside of the window is out of the track.

This window is a good 20 feet off the ground so it's difficult to handle from the inside.

Can I crank it all the way out to get that piece in there, or is it broken and that's why it fell out?

Take a look at our 39-013 and 39-014 operators, as well as the 36-048 hinge set and see how the dimensions compare to yours. Unfortunately, we can't tell which part may be broken or missing based on your photos but I can tell you replacing the hinges would require removing the sash entirely.
