Casement operator broken

Question

Vetter window. Can't close or open using the operator but can when I took out the screws  holding the operator in place. The other side is about to go also

Thanks for reaching out to us! It sounds like the gears on the inside of your operator has been come stripped. This usually happens when the handle is over torqued when opening and closing the window. There is also a crack in the bottom of the operator base.

Your window operators have a similar appearance to the 39-315 and 39-316 Truth Dyad Operators. While I am confident these are the correct replacements, be sure to compare the dimensions below to confirm.
