Casement window hardware

Question

Please specify a replacement mechanism For a Truth 40055 which is stamped on the underside of the gear body housing.  Does the arm length only affect the opening width?  Will a shorter arm work?

Looks like your arm is a little over 11" long. We don't have anything in that exact size. The closest we have is our 39-027E with a 9-1/2" long arm and our 39-013 with a 13-1/2" arm.

Now, the arm length does affect how wide it opens, but what's more important is making sure your window can actually close. One of our operators may work, but it will require adjusting its position on the sill.
