Casement window operator

A quick learner from Eaton Center, NH says:
I have 32yr old wood casement window operator , the round plastic disc that fall out in the slot/notch when opening the window. Therefore I have to take off the screen and manually attach to the notch in order to crank it closed. I'm thinking I need a new operator. The current operator long arm is a "Truth "one and is about 12-13in long. The window opens to the right when inside the room.
Thanks for your help.

Hello, Judy! I concur, it sounds like you need a new operator. See our 39-013 for my recommendation. I think this is a more modern version of your older part. We also carry the 39-014 for the opposite side, if you needed that.
