Casement window parts

Contractor from Hanahan, SC

Hi,

I am looking for the hinge replacement for a left hinge (pic is of right hinge) casement window part (marked up in red).

also the window crank operator and arms. The arms are 4" from crank to a 5 1/2" arm to the window. The straight arm (below the 2 arms) from sash to sill is 5 1/2" as well. There is a stamp with "GU" on it as well.

Again, this will actually be for a left hinge casement window (locks on right side of sash) (couldn't open the window that needs parts)

Thanks

Jack

Hi Jack, thank you for posting,

Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 36-048 2-bar hinge set to see how it compares to the original. Both the top and bottom hinges will need to be replaced at the same time. In the first picture that is highlighted in red, the black slider is part of the hinge, but the screwed in part on the side of the sash I believe may be apart of the bracket that the operator attaches to, not the hinge. Let me know if you agree!

This older GU operator has been discontinued, but we recommend reviewing the 39-315 and 39-316 as possible replacement options. Take a look at the step by step video below that details the conversion and additional parts needed.

Let us know what you think and if you have any additional questions!
