Channel Balance Hook vs Screw

A home owner from South Carolina says:
We are looking to replace 2 channel balances as well as the balance shoes and from everything we could tell with measurements and part numbers, the shoe matches the 1-1/4" 795 closed cam and the channel balance seems to match S795-33 and has 33B etched on it.

However our existing channel balance has a hook at the top for attaching to the frame and I dont see any channel balances from the 795 line with hooks. Is there a way to convert from hook to screw in?

Hello,

It sounds like you have the S795-33 with the 15-198 clip attached. We can supply these as custom balances or if you would prefer to use our stock balances, you should be able to install the 26-200 screw plug in the jamb cutout where the balance hook installs to accommodate the screw tab that comes with the S795

If you'd prefer to go the custom route just let us know the number of balances that you need, with the minimum being two. Thank you.
