Channel balance

Contractor from Pennsylania
Hello,
I am having trouble finding the right parts.
I need the balance, the shoe and the retaining clip. I thought the balance was a 795 but it has no indentation on the balance so the sash can slide down into the shoe. The balance is a 32D. I believe you consider the shoe as an open shoe. It 7/8" wide at the bottom, 1/2" thick, about 1 7/8" tall. I hope you have the shoe I need.

Hello,

We are familiar with the version of your S795 balances with the groove in the stem of the metal channel. Our balances can replace them but you would need to replace the entire balance on both sides, which will negate the need for the groove.

This would also need to be a custom order since your balances use the 15-198 clip for installation, which does not come with our stock balances.

We would also use the 15-194 t-lock shoe with a closed cam shown below for your replacements. We'll just need to confirm the number of balances you'd like to order, with the minimum being two, to send you a purchase link and price quote. Thank you!

I need 1 pair balance with shoe and clip. I also need tilt latches but unfortunately i don't have any measurements. I only have a pic of the space it was in. I don't suppose knowing what balance was in the window, that would give any indication of the latch used?

Great, we just sent over an order link and price quote for two replacement balances. As for your tilt latches, unfortunately, the channel balances do not indicate the correct replacement latches. We should be able to help but we would need to see an undamaged latch removed from the other side of the sash or an identical window in the house to compare to our inventory.

Hopefully this pic can give you a better indication of the latch i need.

Unfortunately, we are not able to make out accurate dimensions from photos and it is important to see an intact latch uninstalled so that we can see it from all angles. Also, please note that it looks like your tilt latch is installed on the wrong side of the sash since the flat portion of the locking tooth should sit flush with the window frame to keep the sash in place as shown in our video.

Thanks for getting back to us but, as I mentioned previously, we are not able to get accurate dimensions from photos. With that being said, you could start by comparing the specifications of the 26-243 and 26-244 to yours. If you notice any discrepancies, please get back to us with your exact dimensions written out and we can go from there.
