Channel balance Republic Windows and Doors

Question

Hi there,

I need a replacement for a channel balance 32" weight D and found your S795 32D channel balance. It doesn't have the same mechanism to fasten the string at the top of the channel.
Is there a different balance you would recommend or do I need to attach it with a screw.
A second question is about the shoe if I need an open or a closed shoe. The looked the same for me in your guide.

Hi Roland,

Thanks for posting! Your balance appears to be the S795-32 with a 15-198 hook attached. This will need to be a custom balance assembly.

These balances come assembled with the 15-195 closed cam shoe, which is the one you have. The way to tell this is by the back of the shoe. The open cam shoe would be open in the back.
