Channel balance UB 28C

Quick Learner from Clermont, Fl
The existing balance is stamped UB 28C and is 1/2" channel that is 29" long
It is not the original since the contractor installed " heavy duty" balances when the large window was very difficult to operate ( the overall upper an lower opening is 51" W x 72" H.

Which of your kits would be best to purchase for this window?
Thanks

Hi John, did your window operate well with these "heavy duty" balances? How long did they last?

Can you submit a couple more photos of each balance en? It is not very clear from the one angle you provided as to which replacement series you will need.

The window was always difficult to operate, both raising and lowering. They told us to spray silicone along the sides once in a while when we purchased the house in 2004
I am attaching a couple more photos, hopefully they will show you what you need to see.
Thanks

John, it appears you have the S380-29 Channel Balance (stamp 2830), however we would like you to weigh the window sash so we can confirm the correct stamp.

Please remove the sash and place it on a bathroom scale and give us the weight in lbs.

Thank you
The sash weighs 20Lbs

John, the S380-29 Channel Balance with stamp option 2830 is good for a 20 lb. sash.

Hey Mike,

See the picture on the left in the Clermont,Florida
question above? Do you sell those block and tackle
pulleys separately? I need 11 of the double roller
and 2 of the single roller kind to fix my 28D and 28C balances. If so, how much do they cost?

Thanks,

Tom
