Coil Balancers

This window balance shoe can be replaced with the 15-177. I'm confident this is the correct replacement but be sure to remove the shoe and carefully compare the dimensions to confirm that this is the right match.

This shoe uses the 1/2" wide Series 152 Coil Balance, which is attached using the 33-072 screw. You'll need the S152-6 to replace the coil marked with a 6. Unfortunately, we do not have one marked with a 14. Are you certain this stamp is correct.

If not, I suggest weighing the sash to confirm the correct coil weight option. Take a look at the video tutorial, tagged below, for reference.

It is suggested to reuse the existing coil support/cover, if possible. Should you need to replace them, ours is made using the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.
